Education - For more than 10 years, The American Picture Framing Academy has been serving the professional art, framing, and photography industries, becoming the largest provider of education and consulting services.

Featuring the industry's only fulltime teaching staff, including Paul Cascio, the well known trade columnist. Paul is widely recognized as one of the professional framing industry's leading experts and arguably it's number one instructor. His extensive knowledge and entertaining style has made him a favorite throughout North America. It's no wonder that many APFA classes are sold out months in advance.

The APFA has trained hundreds of successful framers using a curriculum geared towards busy adults, especially entrepreneurs, and emphasizing maximum learning a in minimal amount of time. The business portion of our classes covers topics such as pricing; startup and growth; corporate framing opportunities, certification and more. We do NOT teach business basics, such as bookkeeping. That information is available from books and through the SBA or a local community college.

Our classes are held at several locations around the U.S.. More than 3000 pounds of equipment and supplies are setup like a professional frameshop. You'll be working with top-of-the-line professional equipment.
